Berean Women’s Ministry is excited to invite you to join us at Women of Faith, October 22 and 23. We are doing this in lieu of a fall retreat this year. We have reserved two excellent blocks of seats and want you feel free to bring friends. The line-up of speakers and musicians is stellar, and this will be a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and spend time with those you know. This study will lead us through the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of freedom in Jesus Christ. Themes for this study come from Isaiah, a book about the captivity of God's children, the faithfulness of God, and the road to freedom.

Summer Devotional Bible Reading Study

This Bible study is a unique and intimate way to study the Bible. It will be lead by an older woman of Berean, in a home setting with 3-5 women coming together to share bible passages that have been assigned. Sign up to be contacted for an informational meeting to be announced at a later date.

At Lisa Roehl's HomeThrough group baby showers, we seek to share Christ's love and offer friendship and encouragement with new moms. If you’ve had a baby born this year, adopted a baby, are pregnant or anticipating adoption, please call! You can help bless Berean babies! We are accepting new baby items, either handmade or purchased, to share with our families of newborns. Please drop off donations at the Church Office.

Join us as we fellowship and put our hands to work knitting, sewing and crocheting warm hats and mittens and making blankets for needy children in the Ukraine. Instruction will be given on the use of knitting machines and piece work. We accept donations of yarn, fleece and flannel.Contact:

Kids Closet
Saturday, November TBA, 2010People from the community and from Berean are invited to shop an assortment of gently-used kids clothes, toys, videos, books and baby equipment. This year we are adding maternity clothes to the assortment. Everything is given free of charge, and shoppers are encouraged to take as much as they can use.
DONATIONS are welcome. Especially needed: Children’s clothing size 5 and up. To donate larger items such as furniture, please call to make arrangements. Car seats will not be accepted.
Volunteers are needed to help with the November event:
- People with trucks or trailers to help move donated items from the storage unit to the church.
- People to help set up for the event and to provide care for children of other volunteers.
- People to help shoppers during the event and clean up afterwards.
