Welcome to Berean Baptist Women’s Ministry Website. Happy New Year to all of you! We are very happy to have you checking on upcoming Bible studies and events. As you will see, our Bible studies all begin the first week of February. Please feel free to look over the offerings we will have as well as other opportunities for growth and relationship. Call me with any questions at 952.223.1807 or contact the listed contact person below the description. I want to share a few thoughts with you concerning this time of year. The holidays are complex time for almost everyone as they seek the perfect gifts, touch base with old friends, spend time with family, and remember days gone by. Some of that is wonderful; some of that brings special challenges and pain. But regardless of all those things, one marvelous truth supercedes everything else. God has come to live among us. He could have sent legions of angels, or another great prophet, but no one but Himself would do. He came as a baby to teach us He knew all there was to know about the proverbial “walking in my shoes.” He came to the humblest of surroundings to two amazed, ordinary parents. Babies are the ultimate new beginning, and He came to offer a new beginning to any who would choose to put their trust in Him. He came ultimately to die and pay the price for any and all of our sins, and the effects of other’s sins which have been brought upon us. He came to bring freedom for this life and eternal life with Him when our time runs out in this here and now. I am reminded as each tiny unique white snowflake falls, that I will appear before Him dressed in white and perfect purity. Maybe you haven’t been loved as you have been, but there is an answer and hope for the new year.
