LIVE LIFE
We believe that there are two options possible in regards to living life. As humans we can live life as we find it in a broken, hurting, and incomplete world, or we can live the life that Jesus claims to offer and makes possible through faith in Him. This is life as it was intended by the creator. This is a life that includes restoration, forgiveness and reconciliation within the creation and with the creator; life to the full. This is the kind of life we want to live. This is what it means to love God. (John 10:10, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 2:14-22, Romans 5:9-11)
MEET NEEDS
Jesus' death redefines the people of God as anyone who puts their faith in Him and follows. These people are called the church. the church, as it partners with God, exists to be a blessing and for the good of the world. We want to become a gathering of people where needs are met. We also desire to be people who meet the needs of those around us in our community. This is what it means to love others. (Acts 4:34-35, Acts 2:42-47, Acts 6:1-4)
SHARE SACRED SPACE
Because of the life made possible in Christ, our partnership with God and work in the world, we gather on Sundays to worship and honor our creator and Lord. Vital to the call and the mission of the church is meeting together for admonition, teaching, encouragement and the retelling of the story of God. This is an important part of our life together as a church, but it is not the only part. Following Jesus every day, in every situation, and being people who embody and uphold the values of the Kingdom of God is primary. (Hebrews 10:25, Acts 2 & 4)
