Activities for children take place throughout the week so children can get toknow other children and learn more about Scripture and Biblical truths. There are several options for mid-week activities.
Wednesday Night Programs
For children age 4 through grade 6 from September through May. Children can join at any time, and boys and girls in grades 3-6 can choose between two different types of clubs. All of our Wednesday Clubs focus on Scripture and relationship-building in a relaxed and fun-filled setting. Children's Choirs start at5:50. Clubs start at 6:45 pm and run until 8:15 pm.

Nursery and Honeybees – Birth to Under 4 Years Old
Childcare is provided for children younger than four for those helpers who are serving in one of the clubs. The Honeybees program is for 3 year olds, and Nursery care is provided for children younger than 3.

cubbies

Cubbies – Children at least 4 years old by 9/1 and not in Kindergarten
The AWANA Cubbies program builds on the social dynamics of preschool settings, and is divided into three parts: game time, story time where they hear Bible and Christian living stories, and table time. Leaders help children memorize the verses in their books, earning patches to attach to their vests. Club spirit is built by singing the Cubbie song, saying the Cubbie motto and key verse. For special holidays, they may make a craft to take home.Cost:

Sparks– Children in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grades
The AWANA Sparks program excites boys and girls about learning from their Bible, writing to missionaries, and other practical expressions of Christian life. They are rewarded with jewels to place in the crown on their vest. Children receive AWANA dollars for advancing in their books, which may be spent in the monthly AWANA store. They are enriched by a nightly special speaker, energized during gym time games, and linked with a leader at table time, where they work on their books by memorizing God's Word. Special events include the Wednesday Club Rally in February and Award night on the last night of clubs.Cost:

Truth & Training– Boys and Girls in 3rd through 6th Grades
The AWANA T&T program motivates boys and girls about learning from their Bible, writing to missionaries, and other expressions of Christian life. They are rewarded with achievement awards to place on their uniform. Children receive AWANA dollars for advancing in their books, which may be spent in the monthly AWANA store. They are challenged by a nightly special speaker, energized during gym time games, and linked with a leader at table time where they work on their books, memorizing God's Word. Special events include: Pinewood Derby, Fall Overnight, Grand Slam, Skateville, Gym lock-ins, and Award Night.Cost: Club fee: $6.50; book: $6.00; 4 yr. shirt (girls): $12.00, (boys): $18.00; bag: $5.50; CD: $9.50

Adventure Club– Girls in 3rd through 6th Grades
Adventure Club emphasizes learning verses that apply to girls' lives through times of crafts and friendship. 5th and 6th grade girls learn from the Beth Moore Bible Studies for kids. Adventure Club Girls enjoy Bible stories, games, crafts, small group time and special events such as movie night, a fancy tea party, Pinewood Derby, overnights, and Skateville.Cost:

Stockade– Boys in 3rd through 6th Grades
Stockade emphasizes Bible memory, learning practical skills from the book and projects. Stockade nights include a guest speaker challenge, gym time, book time with a small group leader and woodcraft projects. Special events include Pinewood Derby, Fall Overnight, Fire Hall and Police Station visits, Skateville, Gym lock-ins, and Award Night.Cost: Club fee: $6.50; book: $10.00; 4 yr. shirt: $20.00; Project: $12.00

Children’s Choirs
Berean's Children's Choirs have a long tradition of uniting top quality and fun. Blending strong music fundamentals with spiritual teaching and applications, each choir performs at holiday concerts, musicals, and in our Sunday services during the year. Children's choirs practice from September to April.
*Raindrop Choir – Kindergarten
*Sonbeam Choir – 1st grade
*Promise Choir – 2nd and 3rd grade
*Rainbow Choir – 4th, 5th, and 6th grade
These choirs are instructed by devoted volunteer directors who are assisted by other parent volunteers and those who love to work with kids.
